USA Network (or simply USA) is an American basic cable television channel owned by the NBCUniversal Media Group division of Comcast's NBCUniversal.It was originally launched in 1977 as Madison Square Garden Sports Network, one of the first national sports cable television channels.
The FCC approved the sale on December 20, 2018, and it was completed on January 2, 2019, making Raycom Sports a wholly-owned subsidiary of Gray. In July 2021, Raycom launched the streaming only Origin Sports Network which rebroadcasts games featuring famous athletes. The network also has select original programming.
